Sustainability at the heart of Camberwell businesses

Camberwell is home to a diverse group of businesses dedicated to building a more sustainable future. Working with the Southwark Climate Collective, these local champions have gone above and beyond to integrate eco-friendly practices into their operations, earning them the title of “Camberwell Climate Champion”.

Theatre Peckham

  • Increased recycling rates by 22% between audit 1 and audit 2.
  • Swapped all dairy milk to oat milk.
  • Changed to wine bottle refill scheme.
  • Introduced food waste bins on site.
  • A 73% increase in avoided emissions in terms of kgCO₂e per tonne saved through recycling.
